An air-operated valve is a type of power operated valve that uses air pressure against a piston or diaphragm to produce linear or circular movement to operate a valve. Types are 2-way, 3-way and 4-way. The 2 way air-operated valves can be either normally closed or normally opened.
Normally closed or Normally open. Available in 2-way, 3-way  or  4-way configurations.
Flexural suspension is immune to variations in temperature & pressure.

Pneumatically control valves are valves that control the flow of pressurised air. Another medium such as water (hydraulics) or electricity, for example, may also be used as an actuator. 
In some cases, the valves are operated manually rather than automatically.

Solenoid Valves
A solenoid valve is an electromechanically operated valve. The valve is controlled by an electric current through a solenoid: in the case of a two-port valve the flow is switched on or off; in the case of a three-port valve, the outflow is switched between the two outlet ports. Multiple solenoid valves can be placed together on a manifold. 
Solenoid valves are the most frequently used control elements in fluidics. Their tasks are to shut off, release, dose, distribute or mix fluids. They are found in many application areas. Solenoids offer fast and safe switching, high reliability, long service life, good medium compatibility of the materials used, low control power and compact design. 

Available for liquid and gas, high temperature, low or high pressure. Features vacuum brazed hermetic construction.
